FAQs

Does the X-7 arrive assembled?
It arrives almost fully assembled. You attach the remaining parts when it arrives.

Can I turn the chair on with the remote?
No. Turn the chair's power on first, then the remote, so the remote can pair with the chair. The remote comes paired with your chair.

Can I push the chair if the battery runs out?
Yes. With the power off, pull the lever on each motor to the unlocked position to set the chair to free-wheel mode, and it pushes like a manual wheelchair.

How do I charge the batteries?
Charge through the joystick controller or directly on the battery. An empty battery takes 6 to 8 hours; a partial charge takes less.

Can the joystick go on the left side?
Yes. It is set up on the right side and moves easily to the left.

Do the armrests raise?
Yes. Both armrests raise for easier transfers and to pull up closer to a table.

Can I silence the reversing beep?
Yes. Press (+) until you reach top speed, hold it until the amber light shows in the middle of the display, then quickly press the horn button. Repeat to turn the beep back on.

Can I drive on dirt and grass?
Yes. The X-7 handles low grass and compacted dirt.
